The challenge
An existing customer of ours having supplied and installed pallet racking to their existing warehouse several years ago, over recent years Thunder Group has experienced massive growth. And, with this growth came the need for additional storage space.
Acquiring the keys to their new site in November, we were under strict instructions to have the site fully operational before Christmas, giving us an extremely tight timescale to design, supply and install. The client also had to achieve a certain number of pallets, making a thorough assessment of the various options even more important.
The solution
After visiting the site, our in-house design team provided the client with a flexi forklift truck layout, being the only truck that would be able to achieve the required pallet count. With the design quickly approved, we supplied and installed high quality Link 51, pre owned pallet racking.
The outcome
From initial site survey to the completion of all installation works, the entire project was delivered within just 3 weeks, our team managing to smash the client’s required timescale thanks to the required racking being readily available as stock. As could be expected, the client was extremely happy that they’d kept their faith in us.
