Peak Energy – standard pallet racking and mezzanine floor

The challenge

Heat pump and energy storage experts, Peak Energy, were in the market for a mezzanine floor and some standard pallet racking for a new new unit that they had recently acquired. The mezzanine floor needed to include a mixture of space for both storage and office space.

After contacting Alternative Storage Systems, our team designed, supplied, and installed the mezzanine floor, as well as supplying a quantity of standard pallet racking on the lower level of the client’s warehouse.

The solution

We designed a mezzanine floor for the client (19.5m x 5.1m) with half the floor being taken up by offices and the other half being reserved for bulk storage. As well as the mezzanine itself, we also supplied a pallet gate and a staircase for access.

Due to the office space being added onto the mezzanine, we finished the installation with 1 hour fire rating protection, which is needed if there are people working on top of the floor for extended periods of time.

We also supplied several bays of standard APR (adjustable pallet racking) for  bulk pallet storage, as well as supplying good quality, pre-owned Apex pallet racking with 4 storage levels per bay. This gave the client all the additional pallet space he needed.

The outcome

As with every project, we worked closely with the customer throughout with him being extremely happy with how everything came together within the required timescale. We also stayed within the client’s budget. The client even left us a 5-star google review expressing just how happy he was with our service.
